The advice of Villa Lazzarini the trip to Dolceacqua

Not far from Villa Lazzarini there is a fairytale village. Dolceacqua.

The Castello dei Doria today allows visitors to immerse themselves in a structure with an ancient flavor, which oozes history, combined with the most modern technologies.

To welcome the visitor a garden and a breathtaking view of the village and the “old bridge” defined by Claude Monet “a jewel of lightness”.

Once through the entrance, two video rooms allow visitors to receive information on the history of the castle and a series of videos about Dolceacqua, its monuments, its territory, its typical products and its ancient stories and traditions.

Always on the same level, a room is dedicated to the territory through a collection of “memories” of the peasant civilization.

On the upper floor, in the Coritile d’onore, the Sala a Sud hosts periodically exhibitions while in those to the north there are the Sale Doria-Grimaldi.

These rooms tell a multimedia story of two great families, the Doria and the Grimaldi; in particular the period of the end 1,400 when they joined Dolceacqua with a story of love and murder.

A panoramic route, enriched by Binoculars, will allow visitors to admire the entire valley, from the sea, to the Rossese vineyards of Dolceacqua, to the olive groves and the Blue Mountains in the winter snow-covered.

The Castle is home to cultural and musical events as well as exhibitions and exhibitions throughout the year.

Autumn – Winter: Tuesday to Sunday
Spring – Summer: every day

A good pizza or a good hamburger

Tonight you do not want to cook at Villa Lazzarini and are thinking about where to go to eat but are you divided if you choose pizza or meat?

We suggest you try going to Bully, you can choose to enjoy a good pizza or if you prefer a good angus burger with grilled vegetables and chips.

As for the sweet I have no doubts. A wonderful and excellent chocolate millefeuille made by Maela.

Recode that for the guests of Villa Lazzarini there is a nice surprise.

Grotte di Toirano o di Borgio Verezzi

Sorry, this entry is only available in Italian. For the sake of viewer convenience, the content is shown below in the alternative language. You may click the link to switch the active language.
